Melanie Rodiquez – Tecate Mission International
I am so grateful for the opportunity to a missionary of Peoples Church and to have your continued backing in prayer and financial support.
I am in my 11th year as first grade teacher at Tecate Christian School. My assignment is also
to test and choice the incoming students. I must depend on the Lord to make the correct
decisions as many parents are wanting their children to be enrolled In TCS. I am challenged
with English as a second language for the students, but it’s a privilege to watch them learn
and also to combine academics with spiritual, biblical teaching throughout each day. There
are many opportunities to share the message of hope and redemption with the mothers.
I thank the Lord for my three boys. 18 year old Daniel has just finished his senior year of
High School and he is presently employed by Mueller Landscaping Inc. Darian finishes 10th
grade. Darian play the bass on the worship team at our church. Branson is graduating from
8th grade in May. Each of the boys are active in the church and they maintain a clear testimony for the Lord.
We are all very dependent on the Lord for His amazing grace and mercy as each new day unfolds before us. The four of us desire to please Him and show Jesus in our lives.
A verse that means so much to me is, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
